Looking for an LTS fisheye 360° camera? Dave’s Home Theater is an authorized LTS dealer. We sell, install and support the LTS 12MP fisheye camera for stores, restaurants, offices, warehouses and other businesses across Orange County, Los Angeles, Long Beach, the Inland Empire and the San Fernando Valley. For example, one camera mounted in the center of the ceiling sees the entire room, wall to wall, with no blind spots.
Why a 360° fisheye camera for commercial and retail
First of all, a regular camera watches one direction. In contrast, a fisheye on the ceiling watches the whole floor at once: every aisle, the register, the entrance and the back corner. Also, the 12MP sensor keeps enough detail that the recording can be “de-warped” into normal-looking views, so you can zoom into any part of the room after the fact. As a result, one fisheye often replaces three or four standard cameras, which means fewer cable runs, fewer recorder channels and a lower install cost.
- No blind spots. That way, nobody can stand “behind” the camera, which matters for shoplifting and employee theft.
- Follow people across the whole store. For instance, watch someone walk from the door to the shelf to the register in one view, instead of jumping between cameras.
- Virtual PTZ. Similarly, split the image into four separate views (register, entrance, aisle, stockroom door) from a single camera.
- Clean look. Finally, a low-profile 5.5″ disc on the ceiling instead of several cameras on every wall.
Built-in retail analytics
However, this LTS fisheye does more than record. In addition, its deep-learning analytics turn the camera into a business tool:
- Heat mapping shows where customers spend the most time, so you can then see which displays and aisles get attention and which get ignored.
- People counting tracks customers coming in, going out and walking past, for traffic numbers by hour and day.
- Queue management watches checkout lines and alerts you when a line gets too long or a customer waits too long, so that you can open another register.
- Two-way audio through the built-in microphones and speaker also lets you greet a customer or warn someone off from your phone.
Where it fits
Retail stores and boutiques, convenience stores, restaurants and bars, salons and gyms, offices and lobbies, warehouses and stockrooms, school hallways and common areas, and parking garages. For example, pair it with an LTS 180° panoramic camera on the storefront and parking lot, or an LTS plate camera at the driveway entrance.
